In case you missed it!
I auditioned with CAKE covers, so I played two of them for you guys to start the concert off!
Now on to some originals. Joining me is Kate Stinson on the melodica that I got for my birthday from Heidi.
Another original with Kate on Harmonica.
Then an original (WORLD PREMIERE!) about Moss and how happy it looks. This is with Austin on Melodica.
This is where I had one more song prepared, but they told me I had 10 more minutes and to just keep going, since they were giving all the other bands 5 extra minutes. So I decided to play a song, with Austin improvising with the melodica, that I had not prepared as well as the others – also about nature (pools of water).
Then they said “Just kidding! You need to leave!” And I said “No… I have one more song.” So I tried to play the song they promised me I had time for, until they threatened to turn my mic off. That’s when I jumped off the stage into my fans. Aren’t they great? I have really great, supportive fans/friends. Thank you for coming! It really meant a lot to see you all there. Despite being thrown off guard because of being kicked off, I had a good time. I hope you enjoyed it. So here you can watch the “kicking off” and the “denial” of the kicking off.
Not sure if I’d perform Quadstock again, but we’ll see. Maybe by next year I’ll be in a band
. Maybe. (Any takers?)
Once again, thank you all who were there supporting me! I know the video’s not the best, but for those of you who couldn’t make it, I hope these videos give you a positive sense of what the show was like!
Also, I’ll be performing again at Scratch (at SU, not sure where yet) on May 27th in the evening. I’ll be playing guitar/singing and performing improv. I’ll give you more details later, but I’ll be less frantic at that one! Practice makes better!!
Also, if you want any of the lyrics to a song you heard on this, let me know. But the lyrics to “Moss” and “Pools of Water,” believe it or not, are already on my blog! They’re the poems on the “Poetry in Snoqualmie” post.
Also, if you ever want to musically collaborate, let me know!
Always and Forever,
Jenna aka One or Two of Four or Five People.

You were adorable! Man I wish I could have been there… I love songs about moss and water : )
I wish you were there, too, harmonizing with me. That would have been PRIME. Next time.
You are a rock star!! I’m so impressed with your musical skills, humor and overall TALENT. I want to meet your mother and congratulate her for raising such a fine daughter!! I love watching you perform, so Thanks!!!
Your ability to perform is only eclipsed by your ability to write songs which is only eclipsed by your ability to be sweet and loving. And your hair is like the solar flares that can only be seen during an eclipse. Could you put these words to music for me?
Love, Dad
Hey Jenna, I’ve never met you personally, but I am a part of SEAC this year and I thought you were great. I was able to catch your whole performance though because I was working the KSUB stage area. There was some miscommunication between SEAC and KSUB so that’s why the timing was all messed up, but I’m so sorry for the inconvenience again and I really think you should audition again for next year
