Music… again… what else did you expect?

Alright…

so don’t forget about my myspace page : www.myspace.com/fourorfivepeople

There I added Mack the Knife for Mother’s Day (cover, of course)
Drums to “Don’t Look Down” (ver 2)
New song called Suzy McGoo that features just my vocals, guitar, and the sweet sounds of Seattle traffic

But right now I just recorded for my friend a song that I’ll hope to record this summer in San Jose, and this is the rough draft with just guitar/vocals. I wrote the lyrics this morning – it’s called Don’t Walk Under Ladders. Tell me and my band whatchoo think! Or what kind of instruments you imagine hearing in the polished recorded version.

And tomorrow I have to perform a skit for italian class. The premise is that I’m going to be playing this song, called Canzone Del Sole by Lucio Battisti. Then my skit partner is going to be my ‘biggest fan’ and be a creepy stalker. It’s great. Then she gets sad that I won’t be her best friend, so I give her this big spiel about how when I was a kid I was also in love with a singer. But with that love, I picked up a guitar and learned to play so that I could make others as happy as I was. So I suggest to her to pick up the guitar and to “sing a song for me, for you, and for Italy.” That’s the part I wrote and “talk” in the middle of the song. Enjoy!

And just for fun… I recorded this over a month ago for my friend Heidi’s birthday. It’s “Thieves” by She & Him.

Ciao Tutti!

Are you inspired after Sasquash? Instruments I would like to hear…mandolin, cello and trumpets!
Did I hear you say gelato in the Italian song? Only a few words stood out, yet Italian is not my forte.
Looks like you get a little breather before finals!
